Peter Plamondon (1944-2020) earned his BFA in 1967 at the San Francisco Art Institute and his MFA in 1975 at the School of Fine Arts, Boston University
Peter was inspired to paint by Big Sur artist Kaffe Fassett, on a visit to Califonia in the early ’60’s. His paintings are now in prominent public and private collections in New England and Florida as well as his home state of California.

He painted still life exclusively, the objects in his paintings usually being two to three times life size.

An impressive list of his corporate and private collectors includes: the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the DeCordova Museum; the Worcester Art Museum; the University of California; Chase Manhattan Bank; A T & T: the Boston Public Library; Citibank; Fidelity Mgt. & Research; and Beverly Sills & Peter Greenough.

Peter’s work was shown at galleries in New England, Santa Fe, NM and Carmel, CA.The artist divided his time between Boston and Cape Cod, until his permanent move to Pacific Grove, CA.
