Christel Johann Heinrich Eli (1800-1881) was a German artist known for his still life paintings.  He worked in oil, watercolor and gouache.  Eli was in charge of design at the famous Furstenberg Porcelain Factory.  His paintings have sold at auction for up to $20,000.00
