Anne Kessler Shields was born in 1932 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting in Maine, and she also studied with Hans Hofman in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Brooklyn Museum and the National Exhibition of Prints at the Library of Congress. Her works are in the Silvermine Guild of Artists, Cornell University and the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, N.C. Information from the Associated American Artists label.

Serigraph dated 1969 and signed in the lower right corner (AKS) and it is titled and numbered in the lower left corner. Image measures 14″ x 13.5″ and it is loosely matted, but never framed. Print is in very good crisp condition with no tears, blemishes, etc.
