Herbert Cyrus Farnum (1886-1925) painted in oils and watercolor. He was noted for outdoor scenes of Algiers. He studied at Rhode Island School of Design and the Academie Julian in Paris. He was a member of the Providence Art Club and Providence Watercolor Club.  His works are found at Brown University.
