Josef Schoyerer was born in Berching, Oberpfalz Germany in 1844. He became a landscape painter who studied at the academy in Munich. He was a pupil of Carl Millner. Schoyerer also traveled to Tyrol, Italy and Switzerland. Schoyerer died in Munich in 1923.
