Herbert Cyrus Farnum (1866-1925) was a Rhode Island artist who painted in oils and watercolor. He was noted for outdoor scenes of Algiers. He studied at Rhode Island School of Design and the Academie Julian in Paris. He was a member of the Providence Art Club and Providence Watercolor Club. Auction records up to $6000.
