DIDIER Clovis François Auguste
Born on December 31, 1858 in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine). 19th century. French.
Painter of genre, portraits, landscapes.
A pupil of Gérôme, then of Glaize and Emmanuel Lansyer, he started at the Salon de Paris in 1880. He took part in the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he became Associate in 1899.
Painter of scenes of bourgeois domestic life, particularly young women, he also painted views of mountains taken in the Alps.
