Roy Ahlgren (1927-2011) was born in Erie, Pennsylvania. He received many awards and prizes and he exhibited at the National Academy of Design, Library of Congress, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Boston Printmakers Annual Exhibition (1970). His works are in the collections of Texas Tech University Museum, the Mississippi Art Association and the Seattle Art Museum. Ahlgren is best known for his op and hard edge technique. Black and white serigraph numbered 107 out of an edition of 250 published by the Association of American Artist. Artist signed, titled, numbered and dated. Image size is 9″ x 9″ and it is 13″ x 13″ including boarders. The serigraph has never been framed but there is a mat. The image is clear and crisp. There is some toning around the border of the print.
