Byron Takashi Tsuzuki was born in Hamamatsu, Japan on September 20, 1900.  Tsuzuki arrived in New York City in 1917.  He studied there at the Art Students League and Columbia University.  He moved to San Mateo, CA in 1932 and was active there until interned in a relocation camp during WWII.  After release, he returned to New York City and died there in September 1967.Works Held:  Japanese-American National Museum (Los Angeles).
