Ronaldo de Juan, who was born in Argentina, was a second-generation Abstract Expressionist. He exhibited regularly at the Lerner-Heller Gallery in New York.

He was awarded a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship in 1970. His work is in the collections of the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington and the National Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires.
